My very own redesign of the Wonder Woman outfit. In my opinion if it ain't broke don't fix it. I just added some more classical and battle-ready flourishes and made the 'W' chestplate with smoother, more womanly curves. Hope ya like. This was fun.
Great stuff... I'm going to propose adding it to one of our weekly art jam folders... hosts the R3 Art Challenge, a weekly thing where a new character or theme is selected. Members can contribute to any current or previous weeks' jam at any time, and can contribute existing or new work. Come check it out. Great way to get a warm-up in in the AM before other projects, or to promote your work to a new audience. Hope to see you there...
I like the armor plates and the sashy cape a lot. I love the addition of the spear to her arsenal. I like her skirt-swimsuit bottom combo, rather than leaning one way or the other. Generally I just love the presence of Grecian-Roman influence in her outfit. Makes her mythological backstory more obvious to the non-comic savvy.
I really love the boots (the star on the heel is a nice touch) and the breast plate is kind of cute. I also love the straps around her leg. Unfortunately, it feels more like a "special" version of her costume (like the golden screaming chicken armour) rather than something she'd wear everyday as Wondy. I also kind of get a Xena vibe from it. Which could be good or bad.
